Legal basis

The processing of personal data is governed by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO). Where people in the EU are concerned, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may also apply.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies. It uses no tracking pixels and no social media plugins, and no profile is built about visitors. The anonymous visitor statistics we collect without cookies are described under "Visitor statistics". Fonts are served from our own server; no third-party fonts are loaded.

Visitor statistics

To improve this website, we collect anonymous visitor statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics. No cookies are set, no device identifiers are stored and no profiles are built about individual visitors. Only aggregated information is recorded, such as the pages viewed, the country of origin and the referring source.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When the website is opened, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (in particular the IP address, the time of access, the page requested and the browser type) in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare operates data centres in Switzerland and in Europe; a transfer to the USA is possible. Cloudflare provides contractual guarantees for this under the Standard Contractual Clauses.

Real-time timetable data

On the home page and the contact page, the directions map shows the next tram departures from the Ottikerstrasse stop. For this your browser requests data from transport.opendata.ch, a service of Opendata.ch. Your IP address is transmitted to that service in the process. No cookies are set and no further data is transmitted. The request is made only while the map is visible, and it is repeated at most once a minute. If the service fails, the website continues to work without restriction.

This website contains links to third-party websites (among others Treatwell, Google Maps, Instagram, ImagiNails Zürich). Their operators alone are responsible for those websites’ content and data processing.

Your rights

You have the right to information about the personal data concerning you, to rectification, to erasure and to the release of your data, in so far as the law provides for it. Please contact the controller named above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
